What is it

This department has the mission of promoting and running renewable energy projects and it encompasses the entire process: from the beginning when the business opportunity is detected, it supervises the technical development taking advantage of the Invall engineering team and experience, it carries forward all the administrative procedures involved and in the final stage it looks for the project’s finance until its construction and subsequent running.

What do we do

In the development division we are focusing our efforts in promoting wind powered plants, photovoltaic solar plants and biomass plants. Consequently, by means of different relevant companies and partners in the renewable energy sector we are developing different projects:

Unique projects

Wind powered plants: We are promoting 430 wind powered MWs at state level, highly focused on Catalonia and Aragón. These projects are currently at different levels of maturity, therefore we have a total of 106 MWs authorised by the administration and we foresee starting their construction in the medium term, and the rest of MWs are at the stage of obtaining administrative approval.

Photovoltaic solar plants: We currently have the necessary authorisation to start building a 1.1 MW plant and we hope to start it up during 2008. We are also making progress regarding the promotion of installing photovoltaic solar panels in 220,000 m2 of industrial warehouse ceilings.

Biomass plants: In this sector we are working on two fronts. The first is to promote urban solid waste treatment plants using an innovative biomethanisation technology which delivers excellent results, obtaining and recovering high levels of biogas. The second front is to promote gasification /combustion plants from forest biomass.
