Aeolian Park in the Balkans

Our group INVALL is coordinating and taking part in the building in Macedonia of the first Aeolian park of the Balkans.

Their 245.000 MW per year will suppose a 4% of the energetic production of Macedonian republic and a saving of 210.000 metric tons of emission of CO2. Nowadays, a 80% of the energetic production in this country is based in the burning of coal.

This modern installation of green and renewable energy supposes an important step of the young Macedonian republic in its approach to the energetic and climate targets of the European Union (Strategy 20-20-20).


Aeolian Parks in Catalonia

More than a half of the projects of Aeolian Parks assigned by the Generalitat de Catalunya in its last contest were elaborated by INVALL.

The consortium formed by Gas Natural and Alstom Wind has been the main winner by obtaining 456 MW, more than the half, of the 769 megawatts in Aeolian energy which was put under contest by the Generalitat de Catalunya in its seven areas of priority development (ZPD), to which there have been presented a total of 20 enterprise groups.

INVALL was in charge by the Gas-Alstom group, now the winner, to develop the projects for the 22 parks which have arisen under contest. The human team of INVALL, formed by industrial engineers, hydro geologists, ways and public works engineers, biologists, agronomical engineers, environmental specialists, architects, topography specialists, as well as draftsmen, processors and administrative people, were in charge of the elaboration of the studies of environmental impact and landscape integration, town planning documentation and, naturally, the original basic projects.

In all the projects it is foreseen the use of Alstom Eco 110 aero generators, with an unitary power of 3Mw. Placed at 100 meters high with 3 spades rotors of 110 meters of diameter.

INVALL is proud of this result because it has been possible thanks to the work of our group of companies.


Irrigation in the Tremp's basin

It has been assigned to INVALL Group the management of the works of widening and updating of the irrigating areas of the Tremp’s basin, in the Lleida Pyrenees.

The public company REGSA (Regs de Catalunya SAU) has chosen the project presented by our company for the management of the works of improvement of the irrigation plans of Noguera-Pallaresa river in the Tremp’s basin.

The project consists basically in the building of a main irrigation net, of almost 3.500 m. length, where through the system of gravity will be transported water from the Sant Antoni’s reservoir to the township of Talarn for the irrigation of a total of 4.634 Ha placed at the bank of the river.

The works will consist in the water catching from the existing draining in the middle bottom of the reservoir dam and in the opening of a ditch in order to lodge a steel pipe of 1.5 ma 2 m diameter, the complexity of the project is marked by the irregularities of the ground and by the different infrastructures on the ground affected by the works (electric lines, roads, and the same bottom of the river in several occasions).

In the project it must be applied the experience of the technicians of INVALL and associated, in the pumping techniques, hydraulic catching, geology, geo technique, ground settlements, quality control and environmental surveillance, obtained in similar previous works, such as for example the one of catching by the irrigation system of Xerta-Sénia rivers.
